The Pontiac City Council is the elected legislative body representing the residents of Pontiac. The Council establishes city policy, adopts ordinances, and provides oversight on behalf of the community it serves.

Council members work to strengthen neighborhoods, encourage community participation, and help guide the future of the city — district by district, block by block.

Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings, share their voice during public comment, and connect directly with the council member representing their district.
