Chris Jackson

Chris serves as the Director of Policy and Innovation for Honor Community Health and was previously the Executive Director for the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus where he engaged his legislative members by ensuring caucus priorities and communities of color across Michigan have access to adequate resources. In recent years Chris was also excited to explore entrepreneurial endeavors in a new and emerging market and is an advocate in the Cannabis Industry where he has served as companies' leader of Government Relations, Social Equity Programming, and project expansion/management - and has been Chairman of the Board for the National Cannabis Industry Association. He is also the Team Market Owner of the minor league professional basketball team - the Pontiac Pharaohs (The Basketball League). His efforts were recognized when he was selected as a member of Oakland County's 40 under 40.

Councilperson Jackson was elected to represent City Council District One in November 2025 to a four-year term expiring on January 1, 2030.
